Cancer care nurse nominated for Today show treat

Cancer care nurse Sinead Power is this week’s makeover candidate on the Today show. Click through the gallery above to see the results.

Nominated by her work colleagues, this Waterford native has put down roots in Cork where she works at the Cancer Society’s Daffodil Centres in Cork University Hospital and the Bons Secours since 2019.

Prior to that, Sinead worked as a night nurse, providing end-of-life care to patients and their families – something that she still does from time to time.

In her downtime, Sinead is a very keen runner and she has plans to participate in the Dublin City Marathon later in the year.

As today (March 24th) is Daffodil Day, it is the perfect opportunity to not only treat Sinead because of all she gives to others, but also to have her tell us all about the Irish Cancer Society’s Daffodil Day and what it means for people.
