Dalymount Park Redevelopment Given The Green Light |

The go-ahead has been given for a €40 million redevelopment of Dublin’s Dalymount Park.

The home of Bohemians Football Club will be demolished under the plans that were approved by city councillors last night. It follows a nine-year campaign to save the historic stadium in Phibsborough.

The project will see the reorientation of the pitch, new stands with capacity for just over 8,000 people and the provision of club offices, a bar and a merchandise store

It will also include extra community facilities to serve the surrounding area, including a public plaza.

The work is expected to take 20 months, with the new stadium up and running in time for the 2027 season.
