All girl band Chicks set for big things.
The band Chicks are poised to sign a lucrative record deal with Dreamworks, the label owned by Steven Spielberg.
The trio are hotly tipped for stardom by UK talent scouts.
From Dublin the three piece are Lucy Clarke, Isabel Reyes-Feeney and Annie Tierney. They first met while attending Loretto College on St Stephen’s Green.
More in the Sex Pistols mode than The Spice Girls.
The girls have been friends since the age of six and admit that they could not play any musical instruments until recently. The band was set up during their Transition Year and have gone on to support headline acts like Ash.
Many say Chicks make a refreshing change to the more image conscious chart oriented bands about at the moment.
