Fans brutally troll Babar Azam after his 4-ball duck in the second T20I against Ireland

Must read

In a thrilling encounter at the Clontarf Cricket Club Stadium, Pakistan emerged victorious over Ireland by 7 wickets.

After being asked to bat first in the second game of the three-match T20I series, Ireland posted a competitive total of 193/7 in 20 overs, with Lorcan Tucker leading the charge with a solid (51 off 34), complemented by Gareth Delay’s stellar knock (28 off 10). However, Pakistan’s formidable batting lineup proved too strong for the Irish bowlers as they chased down the target with ease, reaching 195/3 in just 16.5 overs.

Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman launched a blistering assault on the Irish bowlers right from the outset. Rizwan, in particular, showcased his explosive batting prowess by playing an unbeaten innings of 75 runs in just 46 balls, while Fakhar provided solid support by smashing 78 runs in 40 balls. Their relentless aggression demoralized the hosts as Pakistan cruised towards the target.

Babar Azam’s embarrassing outing

In another disappointing performance, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam endured a forgettable outing as he was dismissed for a four-ball duck against Ireland. Despite being reinstated as Pakistan’s captain, replacing Shaheen Shah Afridi, Azam has faced criticism from fans for his recent batting struggles. His dismissal came on the fourth ball of the second over when Graham Hume delivered a short-of-length delivery outside off. Azam attempted to push the ball but only managed to edge it behind in the hands of the wicketkeeper. His lack of foot movement resulted in a loose shot, much to the delight of the Ireland fielders, as Pakistan lost a key wicket early in the innings.

The 29-year-old cricketer was swiftly ridiculed by netizens, who unleashed a barrage of memes to highlight his embarrassing moment.
