Peter Jackson, chief executive of Paddy Power-owner Flutter, has pushed back on a recent state-commissioned report that found one in 30 adults in Ireland are problem gamblers.

Speaking as the group reported 2023 revenue of £9.5 billion (€11 billion), Jackson said that the company has “different data”.
