Mungret St Paul’s hold their nerve to reach the All Ireland final

Mungret St Paul’s Ladies fotballers have an All Ireland Junior final to look forward to on December 15h

The Limerick side edged out Sligo’ss Coolera Strandhill in this afternoon’s semi final which was decided by frees.

The sides finished level 1-5 to 0-8 after extra time and Mungret St. Paul’s nailed three of their shots at goal to 1 from the Sligo side and advance to an All Ireland decider next month.

Meanwhile all of the Football Review Committee’s rule changes for 2025 have been adopted at the GAA’s Special Congress. 

President Jarlath Burns has described the strong backing from delegates for all 18 motions as a ‘resounding mandate for improvement in Gaelic Football’. 

The new rule changes will apply to both club and inter-county games next year, with Central Council able to amend or rescind any of those changes during 2025.
