Last night, Celebrity Big Brother housemates celebrated St Patrick’s Day and the luck of the Irish was on Meath TV personality Louis Walsh’s side.

From Irish tunes to Irish dancing, the housemates were taking in as much Irish culture as they could on a very special day.

The housemates asked Louis what St Patrick did and Louis quickly remarked: “He banished the snakes, I could do with him in the house.”

Housemate Colson Smith,  best known for his role in ITV soap opera Coronation Street gave Louis the title of ‘the most famous man in Ireland.’

Louis quickly remarked: “I am not Bono,” while Colson said “fine the second most famous man in Ireland.”

Fans on X have reacted to the new title Louis was given.

One user said: “Do you think Big Brother can’t afford body guards for Louis Walsh to leave the house.”

Another user sad: “Get Louis out, he doesn’t add anything to the house.”

After a day of celebrating, the housemates had to nominate one another for tonight’s eviction.

Louis was given immunity from the vote as Big Brother had a plot twist when he asked presenter Fern Britton to place a snake on a housemates bed to be evicted.

Fern chose Louis and Big Brother shocked the house as the person with the snake was granted immunity and went straight to Friday’s final.

Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight on Virgin Media Two at 9pm or you can catch up on the Virgin Media Player.
