Met Éireann has extended its Ice Warning for Ireland.

Temperatures have continued to plummet across the country in recent days. 

A Status Yellow Low Temperature/Ice warning is currently in place until 12pm today.

Met Éireann has now added another Status Yellow Low Temperature/Ice warning for later today. 

The new warning is valid from 5pm Friday 12pm Saturday.

“Very cold with widespread frost and icy conditions. Fog and freezing fog too,” the forecaster explained.

Possible impacts include hazardous conditions on roads and paths and travel disruption.
