Toll charges to increase on the M50

Transport Infrastructure Ireland have announced details of the increases.

If you travel on the M50 you’re going to have to fork out more from January 1st.

The toll for cars is set to rise by 20 cent.  

It means those without a tag or video account will pay €3.70 per journey.

To manage capacity during peak times in the Tunnel, and to preserve capacity for HGVs accessing Dublin Port, toll prices will shoot up by as much as €2 during rush hours, rising from €10 to €12,

The off-peak rate will rise to €3.50.

On the national roads, prices will increase by as much as 50 cent, depending on your type of vehicle.
