Store. Dairy. Parlour. That’s what it says over the door of one of the newest arrivals to Stoneybatter, which is quickly establishing itself at the heart of the community. Bismarck sells coffee too —good coffee, from Soma Coffee Roasters in Cork — which makes it a coffee shop, but it morphs into a wine bar with nibbles at night, and is quietly turning into that elusive third space where you can play chess, be part of a book club, listen to live music, look at art or drop in on the off-chance of bumping into someone you know.
