Ireland AM presenter Muireann O’Connell stunned fans on Monday, May 20, rocking a spectacular peach-coloured outfit while presenting the Irish Restaurant Awards.

O’Connell took to the Clayton Hotel on Burlington Road on Monday evening to announce the winner of Ireland’s best restaurant in front of nearly 1,200 restaurant and bistro owners from across the country.

She posted an image of herself on stage at the event, much to the delight of fans who were in awe of the TV star’s stunning peach-coloured gown that she had received from 105 Fashion Rental in Dublin.

Taking to Instagram, O’Connell wrote, ‘Hosting @irishrestawards over 1100 people, 6 free bars and they were fabulous.’

‘Huge thank you to Chrissie from @the105fashionrental. I was my usual disaster, and she picked the dress out for me. Angel,’ she continued.

Fans flocked to the comments to express their opinions on the gown, with everyone saying the same thing.

The nominations had been made by the Public via the Irish Times website and the Irish Restaurant Awards.

This year, Cork emerged as the big winner on the night as Muireann revealed that Dede at the Custom House in Baltimore was the best restaurant and Aishling Moore from Goldie was the Best Chef.

Speaking at the event, Paul Lenehan, President of the Restaurants Association of Ireland, said: ‘During these undoubtedly tough times for our industry, celebrating Ireland’s food and hospitality offering is as crucial as ever. Above all, the Awards give us the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the hard work of Ireland’s talented restaurant, café, and food-led hospitality staff.’

‘These Awards highlight the resilience and innovation in our food industry. Behind every great dish is a team of individuals committed to creating memorable dining experiences.’

‘As ever, this year’s Irish Restaurant Awards showcased the very best of the region’s culinary talent. I would personally like to extend my congratulations to all the winners and nominees for their dedication and passion.’
